Riyadh
A global hub, in progress
Commerce and culture
Riyadh is at the centre of Saudi Arabia’s transformation. As KSA’s political hub and commercial capital, the country’s Vision 2030 positions the city as a global hub with goals that put people, culture and national ambition on top.
The city’s own roadmap looks to enhance nine sectors including healthcare, life sciences and entertainment. It’s off to a good start thanks to an expanding private sector, increased investment, a growing expat community and exciting events like Riyadh Season festival attracting over 9 million visitors last year.

Think national, act local
Riyadh’s challenges are in how it delivers its brand experience across infrastructure, global connectivity and innovation; KSA’s big national plans need to work at a local level. For intention to become action, the city should take opportunities to turn brand promise into an experience delivered.
Riyadh’s promise should deliver regionally and globally
Evolution unfolded
The city’s promise should span all aspects of its proposed evolution. It needs to be specific enough to differentiate from regional competition while being relevant enough to attract global business.
Riyadh’s brand can benefit from Vision 2030 positioning it as a global hub, leveraging culture for economic growth, and elevating national ambition
